I, Mets Fan

Every day...I will be writing about what I did and what the Mets did. I have been a Mets fan since 1979. My father took me to see the Yankees (Reggie Jackson, Lou Pinella, &c...). They lost. My mom told me about the Mets. Went to a Mets game, that same year, and they won. From then on, it's been a real character builder--rooting for the Mets and maintaining my faith in the team. I have wanted to do this for the past few years but never had the moxie to do so. Now's the time! LET'S GO METS!!!

walking in to the jacob javitz center, 3:45 on a sunday, the whole space is abuzz with excitement and activity!

i first went to visit the awards...i saw them all: rookie of the year, silver slugger award, cy young, world championships, MVP, the roberto clemente award and so on...
